Theatre Technician (Part Time)

We are seeking an experienced Technician to support our artistic programme, conferences, workshops, and events.

Role Purpose:

Provide technical and production support across all events.
Ensure customer care, Health & Safety, and licensing compliance.
Deliver technical expertise for in-house productions and support visiting companies.

Key Skills & Experience:

Technical experience in Performing Arts.
Skilled in maintaining and operating lighting, sound, and stage equipment.
Knowledge of health & safety in a venue environment.
Comfortable with hands-on, practical work.

Hours: 24 per week | Salary: £20,192 pro-rata | Permanent

Programme Producer – Enfield Town


Fee: £3,000 | Programme Budget: £4,000 | Delivery: May–July 2026

The Enfield Town Steering Group is a new partnership of community, cultural, public-sector, and business representatives, working to make the town centre vibrant, safe, inclusive, and culturally active.

We are seeking a Programme Producer to develop and deliver at least three public events that:

  • Activate the high street and outdoor spaces
  • Celebrate local businesses and heritage
  • Increase cultural, family-friendly, and intergenerational activities
  • Encourage community participation

Example activities:

  • Inter-generational public trail along the high street
  • Cultural happenings in Library Green, Saddlers Square, Fountain Island, and Palace Gardens Shopping Centre

Skills & experience:

  • Experience programming cultural events in diverse and outdoor spaces
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills

Freelance role (~16 days over four months). Applicants are responsible for their own tax and NI.
