DAC is a welcoming space for members of the community to get together, make new connections and engage in activities which support their wellbeing. We host a range of community groups:

• Knit & Natter
• Breastfeeding Mums
• Age UK
• Sip & Scrabble
• Poetry groups

We have also enjoyed working with creative groups, charities and local organisations to deliver events and courses which support the needs of our community:

• In 2023, Write 2 Speak and Young Nexus Enfield delivered a series of spoken word workshops with young people from Southgate School, Enfield Chase and St Ignatius College. These enabled young people to express their thoughts and feelings around Black British History, culminating in a public performance at DAC.
• DAC hosts Reggae Choir rehearsals and continues to enjoy programming their performances. Come and see their performances at the upcoming Pure Vibes All Dayer.
• The Enfield Caribbean Association have supported with our programming for Black History Month 2024, offering a series of workshops for young Black Entrepreneurs.
